Tanzania is one country among the country which has a larger number of tribes which linked together with one language although each society or tribe has its own local language apart from Swahili language and each tribe has its Culture, Customs and Tradition also beliefs.

We have Make a research from various tribes in Tanzania so as to gave you various information about Tanzanian tribes and we will look one after another as Tanzania blessed Greater number of Tribes almost 120.Some of them including Waha from Kigoma,Haya and Nyambo people from Bukoba,Wapogolo from Morogoro and Wanyamwezi from Tabora mentioned few tribes.Our research was done few day ago by visit various part of Tanzania to collect information about various tribes and this done orally by ask  questions to elders who was present in the past.

                                  WAHA 

Waha Society in Kigoma

Today we started with Waha tribe this is tribe which located in Kigoma region mostly cover the whole territory of a region and since its formation they have their own cultural beliefs and practices which directs them in  daily life.

And their major economic activities is Agriculture mostly cultivation of crops rather than Animal keeping and they cultivate variety of crops such as Maize,Beans, Groundnut,Rice and Root crops such as Cassava,Potatoes e.tc. also they engaged in Fishing activities which are done in lake Tanganyika but in their fishing activities due to low level of science and technology they use local method also there are little government support to fishers so Fishing activities still poor.

Also apart from that Kigoma blessed big people in Tanzania such as Musician who are famous almost in Tanzania and  whole world are coming from Kigoma.  An example of famous musicians from Kigoma including Diamond Platinums, Chege,Baba Levo. etc .

And most features of this tribe is wizard due to historical background of their elder and until now they being known as wizard but now the situation is not much compared to almost 20 year ago due to education and development of science and technology.

Most of people in Kigoma region engaged in religion and they believe on God but also this tribe faced most challenge although they are producer of cooking oil known as Mawese which are not produced in any part of Tanzania and they produce Fish which is Unique from other fish in Tanzania  they still face much challenge in their daily life.

Poor transport and communication system as roads since their region are less considered in issue of development.

Poor health services as there are few numbers of health center like hospitals with mordern infrastructure.

But now since the time of Late J.P.Magufuli Transportation system are improved since roads are built with the aim to promote develoyof agriculture and tourism also fishing activities.
